A full day of Soccer, Laser Tag, Lego Masters, and Battle Royale, designed and led by qualified Health and PE teachers. Suited to kids aged 5–12, all experience levels welcome.
Tuesday 30 June – Firbank Grammar (Sandringham)
Soccer
Kids pick a country and compete in a round robin World Cup tournament. Because all teams play at the same time on parallel courts, there's no standing around waiting for a turn. It's active from the first whistle to the last.
Laser Tag
Teams work together with a mix of strategy and movement across multiple rounds, regrouping between each one to adjust their approach. The low-light environment and team coordination make it feel genuinely different from most other activities in the program. It's one of those sessions where kids are thinking as hard as they're moving.
Lego Masters
Small groups get a sports-themed creative brief and time to build something together. The session also includes speed rounds, where groups race to complete a smaller build in a shorter time. At the end, all groups present their builds and vote on winners across a few different categories.
Battle Royale
Inspired by Fortnite, this is a last-one-standing game where kids sprint to collect gear and try to outlast everyone else. Rounds are short and fast-paced, and a shrinking safe zone means the pressure builds as each round goes on. It suits kids who love a bit of strategy alongside the physicality.
