A full day of Basketball, Nerf Battle, Pokémon Hunt, and Dodgeball, designed and led by qualified Health and PE teachers. Suited to kids aged 5–12, all experience levels welcome.
Monday 29 June – Firbank Grammar (Sandringham)
Basketball
Rather than just running drills, this session builds skills through competitive game formats like Knock-Out, Numbers, and Basketball Octopus. Groups are split by age or ability so the challenge feels right for everyone. Your child will get a solid workout and pick up real skills without it feeling like a training session.
Nerf Battle
Your child will take part in a team Nerf battle using barricades and base zones for cover, with music on throughout. Safety goggles are provided and a safety briefing runs before each game starts, with qualified teachers leading the session. The format keeps everyone moving and in the game, with respawns meaning no one sits out for long.
Pokémon Hunt
Pokémon cards are hidden across the playing space, and kids hunt them down to collect as many as possible. The catch is that Pokémon Hunters are on the loose, and they're after your cards too. It's part treasure hunt, part strategy, and the player with the highest total at the end wins.
Dodgeball
Teams compete in a series of head-to-head matches, with winners moving forward each round toward the final. Losing a match doesn't mean sitting out, as there's always another game running alongside. Classic Dodgeball rules apply throughout, and one team takes the championship at the end.
